Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
Durango Website is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard referenced for website accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508.
What we do
- Use semantic HTML, landmarks and a logical heading structure
- Provide a "Skip to main content" link and full keyboard access with visible focus indicators
- Meet minimum color-contrast ratios for text and interface components
- Label every form field and announce errors in text, not color alone
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images
- Respect reduced-motion preferences and support zoom up to 400% without loss of content
- Make touch targets at least 24 by 24 CSS pixels, and most at least 44 by 44
- Test with automated tools (axe-core), keyboard-only navigation and screen readers (NVDA and VoiceOver)
- Do not use accessibility overlay widgets
Compatibility
The site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari) and assistive technologies including screen readers, screen magnifiers and speech recognition software.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible, particularly content provided by third parties. We are working to identify and fix any issues.
